How can I resync the colours with the new square shaped remote? With the old one this worked easily with holding the on/off switch, but with the new one I don’t manage to do so by holding the > s. Any advice?

If pressing the reset button 4 times doesn't work(most likely): 1. Turn all the lights on 2. Bring the remote control close to one light bulb, even touching it. 3. Press and hold the reset button cca 10 sec until the light begin flashing and changing color and hold the button until the light stops flashing. Then that light is paired. 4. Go to the next light and repeat the same maneuvre. Do it for each individual light . 5. You're done. Ikea should've explain that, shame on them.

Forget this video just hold / push the button for a while till the lamp react or something

I have lights under my cupboards. Had to replace batteries. I checked to see that the battery had good contact with the metal prongs. It was fine. I was able to get my lights to work by quickly pressing the rest button 4 times and hold it in for up to 10 secs and then it got them working. I first tried to reset the large box thingy lol I think it's the transmitter Not sure what it is called, but caused the lights to blink and dim and I then tried pairing the remote. But it didn't do anything. Holding the remote near one of the lights along my cupboard and pressing reset button and holding in approx 10 seconds did the trick. Thanks to all that posted here

This is so frustrating. Battery died on mine after always working fine. Replaced battery (not an Ikea one but definitely the right battery type) and nothing. So red light, no nothing!

None of the Ikea videos speak to explain the features. I have the newer one (2023) that has buttons on the left and right. The right, I GUESS, is to tell it to only operate and at night or in the day time. Not sure what to press to have it operate day and night. Does it operate day only, night only, and day and night? The button on the right looks like it used to be a timer but now the newer model, it seems to be having the light come on at 10% bright or 100% bright - no timer. Does it have a timer for how long the light stays on once activated? Anyone?

The IKEA DIRIGERA - Google Home integration is EXCEEDINGLY buggy. It no longer works using Android 14 and IKEA Home App version 1,17.0. The app freezes when attempting to connect and users see a black screen.
